Preparing for the puppy…

Yes, it’s starting again, even while we’re traveling the world. We’re planning to foster a guide dog pupper from the R litter (I guess GDA passed on the letter Q because with a litter of 13 puppies, that’s a LOT of Q-y names.)

Beloved wants to get another puppy raised before I retire, and we decided to do a massive bout of travel before the doggy going-home day… ergo all those posts I’ve been doing.

We’re assigned a puppy a couple of days before s/he goes home, so we don’t yet know gender or color (GDA has black and yellow labs, no chocolates), but we do know these babies are a golden/lab mix.

Sadly, no pictures yet but as soon as we have the pup, we’ll put them up.

In the interim, Beloved’s started nesting. $63 of toys are awaiting us when we finally get home in a little over a week’s time, thank you Amazon. Nothing like shopping while you’re bouncing around the Mediterranean.

No, we haven’t broken the news to MaeMae the witchy cat yet. She’s at home with Granny and the Boy (our son) as we do our traveling… she seems to be becoming more personable as time goes on, but I’m anticipating with the advent of this news, I’ll be back to bleeding again. Hopefully she will make peace with this new puppy quickly.
